We are used to seeing American 3D printing start ups raising capital on Kickstarter.com nearly every other week, however China seems to be getting in on the action now. Mostfun, a 3D printer manufacturing company is seeking funding on a Chinese crowdfunding platform called DemoHour.
Even though the project has only been listed on DemoHour for 6 days, they have already raised 267% of their stated goal. At the time of publishing this article the company has raised RMB 133,610 which is equal to $21,454. Mostfun is building 3 different levels of 3D printers, ranging in price from approximately $315 for the MostFun Sail Engineering Model up to $690 for the MostFun Pro, after exchange rates are factored in. The prices will rise once the crowfunding project ends on May 12th.
Once production begins, the company expects to have a shipping window from July 16th to August 17th of this year. The Sail Model will be one of the cheaper printers on the market, and judging from the specs they released, it packs a punch for the price.

The Most Fun pro will have the same basic specifications, however feature Wi-Fi, printing.
