With Easter only a couple of days away, we have seen an enormous amount of 3D printable designs that relate to the holiday, become available online. There is no need to go into your attic to get your old Easter decorations and Easter eggs out this year, only to have them sit around your home like they do every other year. This year, you can be different and 3D print your Easter decor.
Here are some of the top Easter related designs that we have found around the internet, that can either be 3D printed at home, or printed elsewhere and delivered to your home.
The Phoenix Egg Lamp
This design is available on Shapeways, for $289. It is an amazing looking lamp that represents the fiery hatching of a phoenix egg. It is probably one of the most beautiful lamps you will find the popular marketplace, and it just so happens to fit into our theme of Easter.
Egg Pods
These incredibly unique containers that are available to print at home for free, can be found on Thingiverse. They are perfect for putting Easter candy, or just about anything else inside. You could even put treats in them and use them in place of your traditional eggs for the family Easter egg hunt. There are three different egg designs offered for download. They are: Wilmut the Lamb, Beck the Bunny and Eno the Chick.
The Hatchlings Collection
Matt Bagshaw is offering several different Hatchlings this year as part of his “Hatchlings Collection”. They can be found on CGTrader, and include the one pictured above (Eggre), as well as Le Tricolore, Bluegg, Lithuania, Eggsotica, Union Jack, Ninjegg, and Eggsentric. All of these designs can be purchased in .wri or .wrz format for only $10.00, and you can then print them at home if you have a good enough printer and a little design experience. Most printers will have difficulty with the color details though.
The Mosaic Egg
This egg is actually a “truncated rhombic triacontahedron”, made up of 30 hexagon shaped cells, and 12 pentagon shaped cells, which have been stretched into the egg shape. It is available on Shapeways for only $29.98 fully printed. This design also looks great with small lights placed inside. The designer has several other mosaic eggs available as well.
Bunny Ears Ring
This 3D printed ring is currently offered on Shapeways starting at $31.69, by ‘The Rogue and the Wolf‘. You can order it in several different materials, which all look great. It is also available in multiple sizes.
Egg Pixel Treasure Box
This unique treasure box is printed in sandstone, and is extremely colorful. It is available fully printed on Shapeways for $27.95 and is great for holding candy, jewelry, coins, keys, paperclips, pushpins, wrapped candy, or other little things.
