Coming This December to Mumbai: Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo with Lead Patron Imaginarium

3D printing is a worldwide phenomenon. We’ve reiterated this over and over again several times in the past couple of years. The technology is one which spreads near and far, not only to a large variety of geographic locations but to a variety of industries as well. One Asian country has been seeing a rapid expansion of 3D printing take place, as more and more businesses and entrepreneurs turn to the technology for rapid prototyping, and creation of end-use products. That country is India, and this coming December, the city of Mumbai will be treated to a 3D printing conference and expo unlike anything that they have probably seen before.

On December 3-4, 2015, MecklerMedia’s Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo will make its way to the Nehru Centre for a 3D printing event that is sure to top all others in the region. As part of the event, MecklerMedia, in collaboration with Inkjet Forum India and Colour Publication, has formed an exclusive partnership with one of India’s largest 3D printing companies, Imaginarium.

Imaginarium is currently home to over 17 large industrial level 3D printers, ranging from SLS to SLA, DLP, Multijet and Polyjet technology, and they continue to expand within the most populous city in India, Mumbai.

“Attendees will walk away from this event with fresh insight into the latest trends and business applications shaping the 3D printing industry,” organizers of the event explain. “With a variety of interactive conference sessions, inspiring keynote presentations, and exclusive networking opportunities, this is a rare opportunity to exchange ideas with some of the brightest minds in the space.”

Already there is an impressive list of speakers lined up for the conference, with names such as Deepak Raj, Founder & Director of df3d, a company we have covered several times in the past, as well as Guru Prasad Rao, Director of Technology and Operations for Imaginarium. The event is sure to be both entertaining and informative for visitors.

For those interested in attending, a full conference pass is available at the discounted rate of just Rs 8000 / $150 until October 15, with one-day passes priced at Rs 6000 / $100, and networking passes being free of charge. From my experience of attending several Inside 3D Printing Conferences around the world, I must say India is certainly in for a treat. Whether it is networking that you are looking to partake in, or if you simply want to learn about how 3D printing can help your company become more efficient, this event is for you.

Will you be attending this conference? What are you most looking forward to seeing? Discuss in the Inside 3D Printing Forum on 3DPB.com.
